Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels (known as Super Mario Bros. 2 in Japan) is the direct sequel of Super Mario Bros. released for Famicom in 1986. The original game was never released outside Japan because they thought that the game was too hard for the players. First time the non-Japenese players could play it was in Super Mario All-Stars (released for SNES in 1993) with some diffireneces and then again in Super Mario Bros. Deluxe (released for Game Boy Color in 1999) known as Super Mario Bros. For Super Players. The original game was finally released outside Japan for the Wii Virtual Console in 2007, 21 years later after original release.
